Eric Bloem

Eric is a non-profit and corporate leader with 20 years of experience working with public and private sector institutions, including Fortune 500 businesses, to build engagement among priority stakeholders to advance our most pressing social impact priorities.

As VP, Corporate Citizenship and Inclusive Technology, Eric oversees key Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC) programs, including the Workplace Equality Program, Health and Aging Program, Global Partnerships Program and Stakeholder Engagement. Working across these programs Eric mobilizes support for key policy-related priorities to advance LGBTQ+ civil rights around the globe.

Prior to rejoining the HRC Foundation, Eric led Corporate Citizenship’s North America Social Impact advisory services offering, consulting with businesses in the development of best-in-class ESG strategies. Eric also led corporate partnership development efforts with the National Park Foundation (NPF), the official charitable partner of the US National Park Service. Prior to NPF, Eric served as a Vice-President within Weber Shandwick’s Social Impact practice working with businesses to create leading social impact communications and engagement campaigns.

Earlier in his career, Eric helped lead the Human Rights Campaign’s Workplace Equality Program, establishing the then nascent program as the leading voice on LGBTQ+ workplace equity and inclusion. Eric began his career working within Accenture’s change management practice.

Eric holds degrees in Business Management and Sociology from Bucknell University and lives in Washington, DC.
